It tells of this historic place from 1871 to the present, and the people behind it, both past and present owners. The focus is on the George C. Boldt family and their contribution to the place. This publication tells about George C. Boldt building this summer home for his wife Louise. Construction started in 1900 and ceased with the untimely death of Louise on January 7, 1904. She was one month shy of her 42nd birthday.
Boldt Castle opened as a tourist attraction in 1918 and was ranked 10th in 2003 as among the United States most visited historic homes according to the Almanac of Architecture and Design. It is opened from mid-May to mid-October. The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority owns and operates the Castle and has spent over $23 million in restoring the structure since 1977.

 BOLDT YACHT HOUSE

It contains twice as much information as the Bold's Boats book about Mr. Bold's vast fleet of vessels as well as the history of this landmark structure which is listed on the National Register of Historical Places. A total of 150 pictures are included in this 120-page book which measures 7 and 1/2 inches by 8 and 1/2 inches in size. A description of each boat, where it was built, what it was used for, and what has happened to them is the context of this publication. Four of Mr. Boldt's boats still exist and are all owned by the Antique Boat Museum of Clayton, New York. Three of these boats are on display at the Boldt Yacht House. The cost is $15.00 per book

Boldt, builder of world famous Boldt Castle, played a major role in the promotion and establishment of The Thousand Island Club at Alexandria Bay, New York. This book has 50 pictures, 2 in color, 48 in black and white, and is 61 pages long. It is 7" by 8 and 1/2" in size, and was introduced to the public in the spring of 2005. Open to the public for meals, golf, fishing, boating, and fine entertainment the offerings are in the Boldt tradition of fine hospitably. The cost is $8.00 per book

- (ISBN 1-887287-06-X) publication was introduced to the public in 2007. The Wellesley House was where George C. Boldt and his family lived and entertained while their new summer home, now known as Boldt Castle, was being built. The Wellesley House is where Mr. Boldt would live until his death on December 5, 1916. A total of 168 pictures are included in this 120-page book which measures 8 by 8 and 1/2 inches in size. To fully understand Wellesley Island Farms it wasn't just barns, animals, and pastures. It was an empire of 3,000 acres upon which castles, cottages, golf courses, polo fields, tennis courts, country clubs, ice and skiff houses, nursery and so much more were placed. It is and was a resort that encompassed the Thousand Island Region to the fullest extent humanly possible. George C. Boldt's vision and passion for the area exceeded beyond what most people dream or think. He built upon nature for the sole purpose of enjoying life. He was a man most noble to fulfill it along the banks of the St. Lawrence River.

 THE WALDORF HOTEL

- (ISBN 1-887287-03-5) tells the history of this unique place and its master proprietor George C. Boldt. He took the management position when the building was just an idea and under his guidance and leadership it became world renowned for its lavish appointments, fine cuisine, and superb service. From the time of its conception in 1890 to the early days of 1897, this book gives the historical account of a great enterprise and the guiding genus who brought it to life. This 66 page book contains 24 black and white photographs and 1 colored painting of the hotel on the front cover. This book is 7" X 8 & 1/2" in size. The Astoria Hotel was added to the Waldorf and both were under Mr. Boldt's control. Both were torn down in 1929 and the Empire State Building is now on that site. The cost is $8.00

 BOLDT'S BOATS

- (ISBN 1-887287-01-9) alphabetically lists over 60 watercraft once owned by George C. Boldt and his family. This book has 52 black and white pictures and traces each vessel's history. A detailed description is given of each, where it was built, who the builder was, and where some of these boats are today. The front cover is a reproduced 1905 colored photograph of the George C. Boldt Yacht House which is also described in this 62 page book. The Yacht House, on Fern Island, is directly across from Boldt Castle and opened to visitors on June 21, 1996. - (ISBN 1-887287-02-7) was done in celebration of this landmark buildings 90th anniversary September 20, 1904 to September 20, 1994. It is still standing. It tells about the early days of Mr. Boldt's life. This begins with the place of his birth, his coming to America and working in the old hotels of New York City. In 1876 he went to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and within a few years bought his first hotel. Shortly thereafter a second hotel was obtained, and success followed success. In 1902 he tore down his Stratford Hotel and built the world renowned BELLEVUE - STRATFORD HOTEL. This 7" X 8 & 1/2" book contains 65 photographs and is 62 pages in length. The front cover has a 1904 colored photograph of the hotel. SOLD OUT
